Meet Dr. Bekah Peterson of Norco Chiropractic

Dr. Bekah Peterson was born and raised in North Dakota where she graduated from NDSU with a Bachelors of Science in Pre-med/Zoology. From there, she went on to pursue her Doctorate in Chiropractic and her Masters in Sports Medicine at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon.

Dr. Bekah enjoys working with all individuals, but she has a focus in individuals who maintain an active lifestyle and women’s health. She is certified in the Webster technique which is most often used in pregnant women to gently improve the movement in the pelvis and surrounding soft tissues. This helps to provide the optimal environment for baby to grow and develop while decreasing the mothers’ pain during pregnancy. Her master’s degree has allowed her to work with athletic trainers to help assess and treat sports injuries. Dr. Bekah has also advanced her knowledge in treating extremities such as hips, knees, elbows, wrists, and ankles.

Dr. Bekah focuses on personalizing each treatment with not only adjustments, but she assesses each individual’s overall health and wellness. Dr. Bekah focuses on evaluating and incorporating spinal manipulation, rehabilitative exercises, and soft tissue work (IASTM, cupping, & pin and stretch) into each visit. Her goal is to get her patients back to their activity in a quick and safe manner. Dr. Bekah uses diversified adjusting methods, activator, drop table/Thompson, and Flexion Distraction (a form of traction) in all her treatments.

In her free time Dr. Bekah enjoys spending time with her Fiancé Mike and their dog O’Malley. Whether that’s kayaking, hiking, exploring the town, or spending time with friends & family. When trapped indoors you can find her watching Grey’s anatomy on repeat, at the gym, or obsessively cleaning. Dr. Bekah loves being a part of the Windsor community and is honored to be able to help our community get back to doing what they love!
